Blue McLeary is an experienced facilitator and elder promoting the growth and empowerment of men and women. She has a BFA from the Art Institute in Chicago and the University of Chicago. She received her MFA and her thesis demonstrated the evolution of nature and our interconnection through movement that was borne out of her ancestral Dinka and Yorba lineage. Blue is an accomplished Reiki Master and Pranic healer practitioner educated at the Asian Institute of Inner Studies.
She is instrumental in raising important cultural and gender relationship issues through her work in North America, South Africa, and Europe. Blue is an African American, shaman healer, and practitioner initiated into the indigenous healing arts by the ‘Birdpeople Yachaks’ of the high Andes of Ecuador. The great Zulu sangoma, Credo Mutwa blessed her with the name ‘Nandi’ (the one who teaches through water). He charged her with the responsibility to teach her unique perspective on health and spiritual growth. Drawing on her Dinka, Yorba, Blackfoot, and African American indigenous lineage, she integrates ancestral wisdom with modern techniques to facilitate healing. Blue is deeply attuned to the vibrations of nature with a connection to God.
