John McCormick, M.Div.; D.D.

Dr. McCormick was ordained into the Congregational Church, UCC, in 1969. His graduate work at Hartford Seminary Foundation was in the field of psychology and theology. For his post-graduate work he entered a clinical residency through the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education at Hartford Hospital. He became accredited as a clinical chaplain and then as a teaching chaplain. He then served as the director of pastoral counseling on the staff of a suburban Episcopalian church in Simsbury, Connecticut.

In his commitment to his own spiritual development he has worked extensively with meditation and spiritual journeying. He studied Vipassana meditation with a series of ten-day retreats. Through Vision Questing in the Lakota tradition he became a pipe carrier in the tradition of the Native American church.

He is a psychotherapist in the field of Bioenergetic Analysis and founded the Dallas Society for Bioenergetic Analysis. Through his spiritual work, his psychological work and his bodywork he has developed programs in Radical Incarnation©. He is a spiritual guide helping people on their journeys to become fully incarnated.

He is vice president of Sanctuary For Life serving as the director of programming and faculty coordination. He is the founder and Dean of LifePoint Academy. He is also the President of the Dallas Holistic Chamber of Commerce
